A warning was issued to property hosts and real estate agents on September 2024 regarding an individual named Frankline Birachi, who is reportedly involved in fraudulent activities within the Airbnb rental space. He claims to manage properties at Imagine by Benna Apartments in Kilimani, but investigations reveal that he does not own or manage any units there. Birachi operates through an Airbnb account and uses deceitful tactics to gain access to properties while lying about payment procedures. His alleged schemes have left several hosts with unpaid debts, with reports indicating he owes over Ksh 300,000 to different property owners. His M-Pesa number is 0729 177 333, and his WhatsApp contact is 0735 316 184. The individual is currently wanted for these fraudulent activities. Property hosts and agents are urged to remain vigilant, verify client identities, and report any suspicious.
