About this experience

From the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal-clear water gushing out of from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher’s Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

Amboseli is a scenic park in its own right, Amboseli is synonymous with two particular things – majestic herds of elephant and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro in neighboring Tanzania. Kenya’s second most popular national park after the Masai Mara National Reserve, Amboseli was declared a UNESCO-Mab Biosphere Reserve in 1991.During heavy rains, the basin at the center of the park floods, attracting hordes of wildlife. The reserve is an excellent place to view the Big Five, as well as lesser known and rarer wildlife species ending your trip in a style of Hot air balloon Safari. This is rewarding activity conducted very early in the early as you can be able to fly the skies of Amboseli national park and have a great rewardable aerial viewing of herds of elephants, buffaloes, the plains, birds of the air and many more.

Day 1: NAIROBI-TSAVO EAST
Start of your safari, you will be picked from your hotel early in the morning after breakfast and depart for Tsavo East arriving in time for lunch and check in, after lunch you will relax at your lodge waiting for an afternoon game drive. During the game drive you will be able to enjoy the scenic landscape and spot a number of animals such as leopards, elephants, lions, warthogs, dik-dik, rhinos and several bird species. Day 2: TSAVO EAST -TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, head for the breakfast head to the twin land of Red elephant, Tsavo West. Tsavo west is famously known for playing host to several species of flora and fauna. Other than the wildlife, this vast ecosystem plays homage to several land marks other geographical, and some historical.

A tour of this park quenches you thirst of touring the only major source of water which is the Mzima spring located at the heart of the park below the Taita hills. Also, important to visit is the Shetani Lava ie a dormant volcanic feature that has existed for hundreds of years.

Very important to visit during your stay here will be the first world war museum located at the Taita hills sanctuary.

Day 3: TSAVO WEST-AMBOSELI FULL DAY
Early morning proceed for full day game drives en route to Amboseli National Park This is rewarded by magnificent views of the mighty Mt Kilimanjaro with its snowcapped summit appearing pink in the rising sun. Amboseli is known for its abundance of elephants as well as hippopotamus, giraffe, lion and black rhino. The snows of Kilimanjaro, white and crystalline, form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya’s most spectacular displays of wildlife, creating Kenya’s most sought after photographer’s paradise. DAY 4: AMBOSELI -NAIROBI (JKIA)
Have morning breakfast, checkout of the lodge and head to the park for enroute game drive as you exit heading back to Nairobi. You will be dropped at Airport to catch you flight to the next destination.
