ITINERARY

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu Game Reserve
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport in the morning and depart for Samburu Game reserve via Isiolo with a brief Stopover at (kibirigwi). On arrival have game en route to the lodge for lunch as well as check in. After lunch, relax until 1500hrs, time for the evening game drive. Spot the rare Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Somali Ostrich and the gravy Zebra. Samburu is the home to different bird species.

Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve
Spend a whole day in Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives; spot the rare Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Somali Ostrich and the gravy Zebra. Samburu is the home to different bird species.

Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve – Aberdares
After early morning game drive and breakfast, depart for a leisurely drive to the lush central highlands near Mount Kenya. Arrive at the colonial era Aberdare Country Club for lunch, after which you will be transferred to the Aberdare National Park, checking into The Ark. a historic lodge that is located in the park. Spend afternoon watching the forest animals from the viewing deck / balcony of the lodge. (Optional activities at Aberdares Solio Ranch and Rhino Sanctuary)

Day 4: Aberdares –Lake Naivasha
Early morning breakfast, then depart for Lake Naivasha via Nyahururu with a brief Stopover at Thomson’s Waterfall, arriving around 14.00 hours in Lake Naivasha. Afternoon game drive at the crescent island. Later in the evening you will drive back to the lodge for; (Optional activities Nature walk, Boat ride, Visit to flower Farm)

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Early morning breakfast. After breakfast leave Lake Naivasha for Masai Mara. The drive will be 5 hours to the main gate. You will pass through Narok the famous Masai town. You will arrive in time for lunch. Check in at your Camp. Relax until 1530 Hours’ time for evening game drive with a chance to see the Big Five; Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and the Leopard; Spot herds of Wildebeests, Zebras, Gazelles, Impalas and Masai Giraffes and other kinds of African wildlife in this fascinating wildlife paradise.

Day 6 & 7: Maasai Mara National Reserve Full day
The 2days will be spent for whole day viewing wildlife in Masai Mara Game reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Have a chance to see the “BIG FIVE”: Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard. Wildebeests, Zebras, Cheetahs and Gazelles, other kinds of African wildlife can also be easily spotted. Witness the famous wildebeests (Gnu) and zebra migration from Serengeti (Tanzania) to Maasai Mara (Kenya) between July and September; this movement is one of world wonders. Masai Mara being the stomping ground of the Great Migration, a massive accumulation of 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles stretching their legs over 1,200 miles in an annual race to find enough water and green grass for their survival. More afternoon game drives at this jewel park of Kenya. (Optional activities Balloon Safari, Masai Village can be organized at a fee)

Day 8: Masai Mara – kericho
Early Morning breakfast at your camp, check out of the camp and drive to Kericho arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon you will explore Kericho is located in the highlands west of the Kenyan rift valley, kericho has a warm and temperate climate making it an ideal location for agriculture and in particular the large scale cultivation of tea and you will have a chance to visit a few farms to learn tea farming skills. Later in the evening you will be dropped to the lodge for dinner & overnight

Day 9: Kericho- Lake Nakuru
Early morning breakfast and thereafter drive through a beautiful rolling hills carpeted in neat, bright green tea bushes as far as you can see arriving to Lake Nakuru at lunch time. Check in to you lodge. After Lunch you will relax in your rooms as you await for afternoon game drive in the park, Lake Nakuru is well known for millions of Flamingos, the Pelican Birds and the White Rhino. Day 10: Lake Nakuru -Nairobi
Early morning you will enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the lodge and thereafter you will depart for Ngong through Naivasha Nakuru Highway with a brief stopover at The Great Rift Valley which has a great scenic view of the Escapement.  Immediately after the stop over you will proceed with your safari to Ngong to a children home by the name *Kibiko Children’s Home* where you will spend the day with the kids showing them love. One this day you can also participate in tree plantation in the center. Later in the day you will be dropped back to the Airport to catch your flight to the next destination. (Things to carry: Food stuffs, clothing, beddings, sanitary towels, gifts, books etc.)

What to carry for this safari

• A digital camera, its charger and a downloading cable, Torch, Tooth Paste, warm clothing for the night, pain killers, drinks, snacks and identification card /Passport gate entrance.
