MAASAI MARA, LAKE NAKURU AND  ELEMENTAITA SAFARI PACKAGE

About this experience

Originally designated as a wildlife sanctuary in 1961 during the colonial period in Kenya, Masai Mara was expanded to cover more of the area where the vast numbers of wild animals were inhabiting and using as wildlife corridors to move from Serengeti to the Mara. Subsequently, the respective local county councils, namely Narok and Trans Mara were given the responsibility of managing the Eastern and Western sides of the reserve respectively. The Western side of the reserve includes the Mara Triangle. The reserve is now largely held as one of the leading wildlife conservation areas in the world, known for the famous wildebeest migration

 The Itinerary

Day 1. Nairobi-Masai Mara

Pick up early morning from airport or your hotel in Nairobi and drive to Masai Mara. We shall have a stop at the Great Rift Valley for photography and enjoying the scenery. Arrive on time for lunch at your safari lodge or camp. Afternoon game drive till sunset.

Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Tented Camp or Similar

Day 2. Masai Mara

After your breakfast, leave with picnic lunch for a full day game viewing in the park including a visit to Mara River. On your way back, possibility to visit Masai village at an extra cost. All Meals and overnight  at Sarova Mara Camp or Similar

Day 3. Masai Mara- Lake Nakuru

After your early morning breakfast, check out from lodge or camp and depart for Lake Nakuru. Arrive on time for hot lunch at the lodge.

Afternoon game drive with dinner at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 4. Lake Nakuru – Lake Elementaita

After breakfast, leave for lake elementaita arriving in an hours’ time or less. The rest of the day spent on activities such as nature walk, bird watching, horse riding to mention but a few. Alternatively spend the rest of the day at the swimming pool. Dinner and overnight at Sunbird Lodge

DAY 5. Lake Elementaita -Nairobi

After breakfast leave the lodge for Nairobi and the drop off at the airport or your residence
